Discorded beginnings
The short story of discords not so humble beginnings (POEM)

Perhaps it was destined by fate
for the things that happened that summer day
A unicorn stallion with an ache crush
had caused the princesses quite the adrenaline rush!

Ever since he laid eyes on that mare of the sun
he knew that her heart had to be won
Anything for tia, nothing is too much
but, there is a price to pay for thinking such

It started small, with flowers and candy
the princess thought nothing of them, simply gifts that are dandy
the poor fool figured if that didn't do
some upgrades to himself would make her easy to woo

he created a spell to give himself
he thought, "yes this should certainly do the thing"
but the spell had gone haywire, oh what a shame
all because his heart was set on that dame

paw of a lion,wing of a bat
tail of a dragon, would you believe that?
his mind went mad, (not that it wasn't before)
with all this power, he rushed out the door

"celestia!" the young lover did call out
but as soon as she saw him she let out a shout
"Monster!" she screamed in fear
Suddenly the once stallion wanted to disappear

"i did this for you, Princess" he told the mare
"get him away from me!" she yelled, his heart broke right there
His heart hurt,  his mind plotted
this pain was never forgotten

Revenge took form
goodbye to the norm
He ruled till the day
the return of her rays

to think all this was because a mare
let this be a lesson for everypony everywhere
don't fall in love, the ending is always bad
take it from the man who went mad

(the note was signed at the bottom by her longtime friend)
(fluttershy was in tears near the end)
(staring at discord she knew what must be done)
(to take his mind off it she called up pinkie and decide to have fun)
